Human Rights as Limits for the Security Council

On Monday 27 October 2014 Chris Michaelsen is delivering a lecture in the Rights Talk series of the Centre for Comparative and Public Law at the University of Hong Kong. His lecture examines the application of human rights limits to the decision-making process of the United Nations Security Council.

Chris will examine the extent to which human rights constrain the Security Council in the exercise of its functions under the United Nations Charter.
